The Thrifty Wanderer: March 2013

We have no pay at that time, we were all so burned out with work we need to escape away from the City. We've been eyeing for blogs about camping for the past days. We decided to continue our plans though we don't have pay. we borrowed money from Ai. Our budget that time was only 500php or less. We knew someone near Kan-irag our Ate Ma, its an advantage. A lot of things happened; family problems, schedules etc but it did not hinder our camping plan.

We rode a habal-habal going to Busay for only 60php.

Way to Busay...

Just the four of us. Ate Ma who took the picture, Me, Teache and Tita Fatz... Aileen and Mike is coming by night since Mike has duty until 8pm..(they missed half of their lives)

We were dropped @Kan-irag Nature Park...Tita Fatz with her emo walk..We have to take that road up to the Kan-irag...Hmmmm...

The Nature park is currently close..I don't know the reasons why but you should not miss to take picture on this site...

Let the trekking begin...

Good thing we found sticks that will support us on our trekking. We already have the sticks so, we are all sooo excited!!!

It's getting dark..we must start building our tents...

We know nothing about tent but we have no choice...

Teache and I set-up the tent without manual...Just interpreted it..??hehehehe!

After setting up the tent, what's next? We heard our tummies rumbling...

City lights...

Cooking using banana leaf...There's no foil in the mountain....

We are all ready to eat but no sign of Aileen and Miko yet...

Even Mario is hungry....

We had a mini concert...

Because of that song we woke up early in the morning..

About to sleep with our pajamas...

We woke up with a flashed, we thought that someone just took picture of us...Then heavy rain poured...We didn't mind it at first because we were inside the tent... Until, water started to penetrate our tents and we all panicked. Woke the two from the other tent.
