Temple of Leah

Just last week, Sheena and I visited the newly developed tourist destination in Cebu; the Temple of Leah. The moment I saw the photos of the temple online, it makes me think of India's Taj Mahal that was built for the emperor's beloved wife. Temple of Leah is being built for the love of a husband Teodorico Soriano Adarna for his wife Leah V. Albino-Adarna, grandparents of the actress Ellen Adarna.

How to get there?  Just ride a motorcycle from JY Square for 50php; if you are good at haggling, it can be lower than that. We got ours for 40php, got the driver’s number to pick us up too.

These Greek inspired walls will first greet you. The place is still under construction.

No entrance fee, but you need to contact a certain person if you want to use the place for pictorial.

It was around 11am when we arrived and there were already locals and tourists exploring the place.

It's not obvious, that we loved taking pictures with this lion statue..hahaha!
The huge statue of Miss Leah.

This dog was so cute, posed like the lion statues outside.

 Front view of the temple.

 The Greek inspired statues.

Breathtaking view of the city from the temple.

Not far from the temple is Lantaw restaurant. Sheena was pointing at it using her selfie stick. You can just walk from the temple to the said restaurant. Just like we did :)

If you are touring the Cebu City in just one day, you may insert the visit to this temple in your itinerary. It would only take 30 minutes of your time, exploring and taking photos around.
