Cafe CAW!

Just last week we visited another cafe in Lahug at SSY Center, named Cafe Caw. I asked one of the employees about the name of the cafe (I was curious) but I was not able to understand his explanation so never mind. The place is not that catchy outside but I saw the colorful cages in the glass wall on the second floor so, we gave it a try.
I like the artwork on glass but I think there's something missing on it, to give the place more life. Or maybe it was just a gloomy morning when we went there, that's why I was not hooked of the place's ambiance.
Their pastries...Their displayed pastries were not mouth watering either. So we looked for something special.
I love this message on the stairs.
My favorite corners of the cafe. Hmmm...after hopping from one cafe to another, I can say they have similarities when it comes to their interior design.
And those are the cages that caught my attention from the outside :)
Our orders! Quite similar to what we ordered from the last cafe we visited.hahaha! They should've displayed their rainbow cake to attract their customers. I  like their kitkat shake something (gosh! what kind of blogger I am, I forgot the name...Sorry..).

It was early in the morning when we visited the place, there were no customers yet aside from us. We were able to play around. We enjoyed the mirrors with different colors, shapes and sizes hung on the wall.
Their single couches were cute too, it made me feel like a queen.
We lingered at Cafe Caw for more than 2 hours again!hahaha!

I did not forget to leave a mark of course. So again, Miss Blue the Thrifty Wanderer now a cafe hopper visited Cafe Caw!!!

Country Basket Pastries and More- Cebu

As I was saying on my previous post, a lot of cutie cute resto's and cafe's suddenly popped up around Cebu this past months. Teache and I often stroll around to relieve our stress especially every Saturday and just last last Saturday we end up in this cute new place in Lahug, across JY Center Mall and in-front of Maybank; a cafe called "Country Basket". It's a two storey thin and cute building selling delicious pastries, a very relaxing place too.

 Yummy pastries...

My cake, "HAZELnut", just joking..

Cake in a jar for 155php.

 The second floor.

I love colorful decorations, very lively.

Our food...The lasagna is creamy and not to mention the mouth watering cake. For all of these food we spent just around 600php and we stayed in the place for more than 3 hours.

 Teache...

Another delicious and stress-free weekend for Miss Blue, The Thrifty Wanderer. Country Basket Pastries and more...CHECKED!!!

OPPA CAFE- Cebu City

Who loves "My Love from the other Star" or "The Heirs"? Just two of the most popular Korean novelas in the country right now. I might sound like a "Jologs", but wait; I really am a Jologs eversince. I am not afraid to admit that I love watching Korean series and listening to their music though, "Saranghe" is the only word I understand and also the famous lines of the Korean novela lead actresses, "OPPA"!!!

Wheew!!! Quite an introduction, I'm not going to write a review on a specific Koren novela but just want to share one of the famous cafe house in town right now, "Oppa Cafe". I've been invited by my cousin to visit and chill-out in the said place but I had no time and finally, out of stress and unexpected trip to Colon we dropped-by the place.

Their drinks are just affordable :)

You'll enjoy reading the notes written by the people who've been to the place, mostly students with their friends.

They have two flat screen tv's who played Korean shows.
Posters of Korean artists are posted around the walls too. Some were brought by their guests, I believe..Hmmm...

We just want to feel and enjoy the moment so we ended up ordering this fish something..Nah, I forgot the name.

We tried their Shave Ice. Honey Melon and Apple.

We enjoyed it and we're planning to visit all Korean themed cafe's around the town to compare. So, Oppa Cafe...CHECKED!!!
